THE HELLENIC PHYSICS ASSOCIATION ORGANIZES

THE 1ST HELLENIC AEROSPACE CONTEST

with accompanying seminars in aerospace and space activities for secondary and high school students titled:

“LET US TAKE A TRIP TO SPACE TO PERFORM AN EXPERIMENT IN ZERO GRAVITY”

ACCOMPANYING PRESENTATION MEANS:

  • Written document in word doc or pdf and powerpoint format
  • Models
  • Posters
  • PC usage with simulation or 3d modelling softwares
  • Artistic representation (painting exhibit)
  • Videos
  • Electro-Mechanical prototype

The 1st Hellenic student aerospace competition for secondary and high school students aims to enhance the scientific knowledge, information and technological skills of the participants in space technologies, by enabling them to engage the contest process with their own designed and implementable experimental device in near earth orbit space environment , aiming to be incorporated into an upcoming space mission at a height of about 100 km above the Earth’s surface.

The experiment that the students will design will be triggered in a real zero gravity environment after integrating it into a space mission with one of the world’s largest aerospace companies, BLUE ORIGIN, from Texas, USA,  which will transport it and  will bring it to the Von Karman line at the edge of the atmosphere.   BLUE ORIGIN is currently pioneering the construction of reusable space vehicles.

THE 2ND STAGE OF THE CONTEST IS IN PROGRESS-PRESENTATION READINESS

WITH FIGURES, SCHEMATICS, POWERPOINT, ARTISTIC DEPICTIONS, AND DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS BY 31ST OF OCTOBER
